The Eco Salon Waterkeeper Alliance benefit in December 2008 was created by Lexus Hybrid Living. Environmental activist Robert F Kennedy, Jr., Waterkeeper Alliance Chairman and Founder, was the featured speaker. Lexus Hybrid Living partners included eco beverage companies VeeV, Sambazon, Robert Sinskey and Alma Rosa; sustainable interior designers Uhuru Design, Kenneth Cobonpue and Peter Danko; and fashion designers Lara Miller, Stella McCartney, Bahar Shahpar and The Four Hundred.

To celebrate UN World Environment Day on June 5,
the environmental documentary HOME was screened at a private VIP event at the Stella McCartney West Hollywood store in
Los Angeles. VIP celebrity
and press guests, including Cameron Diaz, Anjelica Huston,
Liv Tyler, Rosario Dawson and Emily Deschanel were chauffeured to the event in Lexus RX 450h vehicles and the 2010 HS hybrid was staged in front of the store. Proceeds from the event benefited www.goodplanet.org.

Jewelry designer Monique Péan celebrated her Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award by presenting her new Charity: Water Collection at the Hosfelt Gallery in Chelsea, New York on Tuesday April 7th. With the sponsorship of Lexus Hybrid Living, Monique Péan was able to provide 92 people with clean drinking water, which will last for 20 years, by building clean water wells in impoverished communities in Africa.

Lexus unveiled the HS 250h hybrid vehicle, while guests experienced sustainable luxury through the Lexus Hybrid Living Eco Garden Boutique, including fashion from THE FOUR HUNDRED, eco jewelry from Monique Péan, eco art curated by Claire McGovern, and sustainably crafted furniture from Uhuru and Kenneth Cobonpue.
